When I teach, I teach the student

The poem by William Blake summarises the approach of learning I took to the class: Blake means that you can find universes of meaning and revelation hidden inside the smallest things. As a teacher, I like to show how the wide expenses of knowledge and skills can be captured succinctly in an equation, graph or a picture. I want to teach the students to see beyond the academic grades to witness the beauty of a discipline. The students can then achieve the enduring understandings to the essential questions of life.
